Event for Spanish Language Teachers and Instructors

On March 7, Vytautas Magnus University once again brought together a large group of Spanish language teachers and instructors from all over Lithuania.
Exactly one year ago, the founding conference of the Lithuanian Association of Spanish Language Teachers and Lecturers (ALPE) took place here. This year, an even larger community of Spanish language specialists gathered not only to celebrate the association’s first anniversary but also to gain new ideas at the practical seminar “DESTINO ELE KAUNAS 2026.”
The seminar was organized at the university by the Institute of Foreign Languages in collaboration with the Lithuanian Association of Spanish Language Teachers and Lecturers (ALPE). The practical training sessions were led by the Association’s partners from Spanish language schools—experts in teaching Spanish as a foreign language: Román Navarro (La Playa), Fernando Batalla (Taronja), Juan Luis Rebollo (Vamos), Silvia García (El Aula Azul), and Eva Laguna (St. Gabriel’s).During the event, participants were introduced to various innovative and engaging teaching methods that allow for the integration of culture, technology, artificial intelligence, music, visuals, and game-based elements into the language teaching process. We would like to thank the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Lithuania for its support, the language schools Vamos, La Playa, Taronja, El Aula Azul, and St. Gabriel’s for the training sessions they provided to our teaching community, and all participants for their camaraderie, smiles, and support.
